Sly- and Carbon Brothers- I get the enthusiasm and the disapointment. Really. I agree with Sly, lets get on with the program here. As I have posted before- I had a drummer on my XB, and I am on the list for the 1125 Drummer with Kevin. But honestly, I think the issue might be the fact that no pipe for the near term, is going to do better than stock in terms of the HP and TQ numbers- so there may be some trepedation here - there a slim very few folks offering a pipe for the bike, and those who do offer no HP gains. Whatever- Kevin- man, let er rip one way or another. |

All's fair and good post above this one. At least there is one with balls that have an interest of learning herein. Next post and please...no more Bull$hit. Data SHOULD be the next post to this thread. |

Question: Who are you to direct people about what they can or cannot post? Are you this forum's regulator? If you don't want to read what you think is nonsense, then don't read it. Simple concept. You don't have to be a bully to people. |

I'm definitely not trying to start a war with you, Slypiranna, but why in the world should you be the only one who gets to express his feelings? You have made VERY CLEAR over and over how you feel. I, too, would like real information on the new Drummer but your demands of other forum members are out of line. That's all from me on this subject. |

I realize there are several of you that are drooling with anticipation over the 1125R Drummer. Please allow time for it to be done properly. I don't know Kevin nor have I met him, but his reputation preceeds him as one for doing things throughly. I have seen the 1125r Drummer pipe and ridden on the track with it. It sounds great and "feels" better than stock. The numbers will tell and it will be run on the dyno very soon. Give it some time and the pipe w/the numbers will be ready before riding season starts!! I believe the wait will be worth it!! |

Again, no offense...just a little tired of the game this thread has involved. mm Looks like you started a new game and stepped up as the police chief of the forum. No need for a PM and this is not useful info. (Message edited by dentguy on January 27, 2009) |

No add'l info and it'll be a while before I can afford one of Kevin's gems for Loretta. That being said, I am VERY interested in the development of this pipe. I see this thread more as a cheerleading section for Kevin and Crew than anything else. Good Lord! 15 archived PAGES! I'd be mighty proud if I were Kevin Drum,,, and busy! Peace Out. Is it ready yet? oops! that's Rob's job, Forgot I stuck over here and my bike is in the States. I would love one of these pipes and I am waiting patiently for them to hit the market as I am separated from my baby. Everything Buell related says the Drummer is the best so Kevin has his cheering section. Sorry, I don't do pom poms. That would require the don't ask don't tell to come into effect. But, GO Kevin!!!!!! Toby |

I wonder why we cant get a whiff of a price yet? Is the price going to be based on the MIA dyno results? |

I'm pretty sure it will be worth the wait, but until then, we need to stop beating the dead horse. 16 pages of asking for something yall know damn well will be looked at from every angle to make sure it is the $hit. I personally wont be wasting my money on something i know I'll be removing later on, can i get a HELL YEAH! |

Well said Jleblanc26. Page after page of 'is it ready yet'. Give the guy a break and let him get on with it, I'm sure we'll be the first to know when its ready. Until then start saving your bucks and stop whinning like a bunch of kids in the back of a car on a road trip. |

Hmmmm....maybe the power numbers weren't up to the stock pipe and that's why they haven't showed up? I don't see any other reason. This point has been touched on before. People are so fond of bagging on the stock pipe....I bet the buell engineers are laughing at every failed attempt to better the stocker. Function over Form, love it. I actually like the form of the pipe--the welds could be better yes. Pretty amazing they got that much power out of the stocker and STILL kept it EPA compliant. Aftermarket has had free reign to change everything irregardless of gov't regs and they still can't top the stocker's performance. Kudos BMC (Message edited by fresnobuell on January 31, 2009) |

i love the stock pipe, in fact i called kevin in the hopes that they could take my stocker and we work it and put a better tip, perhaps a slash cut single outlet. i would be cool with that idea. i just want some more sound. i'm not a racer of any sort, so extra power isn't what i'm going after. it's sad when your riding next to your wife in the family truck and she says she cant hear you at 70MPH. its too quiet. |

ya sometime tommorow .I tuned it with stainless diamond grating .I Left all baffles in just pulled the two tubes out and integrated a 3 inch tip.I didnt like how people were putting 2 1/2 inch tips hanging off the side of the bike so i figure why not try to integrate it in the pipe not hang off the pipe. |

I honestly think that it was a mistake not to base the Drummer on the stock pipe. This would allow for a less expensive product and a sound design from which to build upon. |

If that's the route you want to go, buy a MIG welder and knock yourself out. Documented on these here pages. You'll wind up with a heavy, good sounding, good performing pipe. VS. a LIGHT, good sounding, good performing pipe. Like I said, Someday we will see an Econo-Drummer. R |

The numbers on the Drummer can are not known, as it has NOT been on a dyno yet. That is the ONLY reason they are not posted. To insinuate anything else is near insulting to the people involved with the project. Not to knock the Buell guys, but I would be very suprised if the stock can was found to be the optimal performance can. The stock cans are designed with gubberment regulations in mind, as oppossed to all out performance. Patence... Sometimes it sucks, but that's just life. |

Sorry, I apologize for thinking that the Drummer was put on the dyno, apparently it has not. BUT, the frigging thing has been in Florida for a LONG time and they can't find the time to get it on the dyno. The infamous track day was just after Christmas. For an item that is nearing production, the delay in the Drummer dyno seems very odd. |

Posted on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 - 09:10 am: Looks like the Gainsville HD folks are out at the dealer's meeting so we'll have to wait a bit longer for the second set of dyno runs. Does this mean that they have at least one set of dyno numbers? Looks to me that they have dyno'ed it once. So, is it ready yet? Sorry couldn't resist. RB |
