i am pretty sure opti has been in tuning the 1125's with ecm spy already. i know he is working on more tuning with it currently. but knowing what i know, these pipes are designed to do some good things with the stock map just like the previous drummers. although there is always room to gain on anything with a good tune! |

Tim's got it right. We design them to work within the capabilities of the ECM to adapt its stock map so they will work great under all conditions. But given a reasonably fixed altitude, temperature, baro pressure etc. you could create a more perfect map for the specific type of riding you are planning. You'd probably leave the O2s disconnected so the little bugger wouldn't try to get back to 14.7. I almost forgot - you can send the doc to Jersey..... Sorry for the delay guys as Jersey said, I got sick and didn't get to put the miles on the bike I wanted to. I've got just a little over 200 miles on it since I put the pipe on. So, I will have dyno numbers real soon. I would like to add, as long as you don't tell any local LEO, I did my first on purpose wheelie with it Monday. As I finished the wheelie and poured the gas on to set the front end down as per my usual practice, in stead of coming down lightly the front end started picking back up! Thanks for the well wishes though, I'm feeling much better. |

well on the price issue...its hard to state a price when you don't know what the end cost for materials will be...I'm not perfectly sure what the material will be as of yet....after I see what works best then I'll know more on the material cost issue, till then lets be for certain it functions first then we'll go from there.. Just wait until you stand right next to the D&D. Sounds sweet but your ears will be ringing. |

If the Drummer sounds as loud as the D&D, count me out. That thing is obnoxious. |
