I noticed my bike running to rich and sometimes even backfiring. I disconnected the ECU and both terminals on the battery. Arter a day connected them back warmed up my bike as usual then took it off for a high rpm ride for about 20 minutes. Ive noticed better reaction and no more backfiring. Im not sure wut happened anybody have a clue of what i just did?

Sometimes the ECU just needs a little rest. After the nap it had a whole new view on life ;+}.

J/K What probably happened was there may have been some corrosion on the connector and/ or the ECU was a little confused. By disconnecting the battery you made the ECU rely on it's stored parameters until it could re-learn actual conditions.

We usually try and do one thing at a time when trying to figure out what is going on. I had my odometer reset to 0.0 miles one time. After reading about a similar experience I disconnected the battery for 5-10 mins and it remembered how many miles I really had.

One of the 2 things you did fixed your problem so just ride the sh!t out of it and enjoy the SEG on your face.
