Haven't ridden the CR yet - haven't even sat on it - but I think I love it (took me awhile - seeing it in person clinched it). I'm 6'3" and love my '06 Uly - fits me perfectly. Any CR riders out there who are also tall? Have any feedback for the bike's fit? Handlebar comments? Do your knees get crunched? Good for long rides? Thanks... |

Hooper, While I am not a CR driver I am an R driver. And 6'4" the R makes for and interesting ride to say the least on long hauls. I took a trip out to California and did 3 700 mile days out and back. My knees fared well so did my lower back and shoulders. I did swap out the seat to the custom firebolt seat for the ride back cause the stocker just wasn't working with my skinny a$$. Hope this helps...maybe some taller CR drivers will chime in.

I am 6'2" and own a CR. LOVE IT!! I find it very comfortable, enough leg room, actually my knees tuck in nearly perfect! Feels like this bike is built for taller people. |

I'm about 5-10, 5-11, or so (not what I'd call tall, by any means...) and if anything I'm a little short for the seat height. Should fit someone a bit taller than me well. If it is a bit tight on the seat to peg, do the Uly pegs! They're quite comfortable. R |

On this thread you can see how we've modified a CR for what I consider a comfortable ride, and I am 6' 4". http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/419592.html?1228504174 ~jammer |

I'm 6'4" on an R, I've pulled a couple 500 mile days and haven't felt much discomfort. On my old CBR600, 200 miles was about all my wrists, back, knees, and neck (wind buffetting) could take. With the One-twelve-fiveR, I can ride all day long and still have enough left in me to wheelie my XR600R up a trail afterwards.. |

I'm 6'5" and found the ride position to be great on my test ride, although If I bought one I'd put some XB12S foot pegs on it just to take some bend out of the knees.

Hooper, After 600 miles, I can't imagine a "sport riding" machine being any more comfortable. I am 6' 240. I tried the upright handlebars...I like the CR better. |
