Had the rears burn out on me. Replaced by the dealer, no problems in the last thousand miles or so.

Smaller is of course better, but the 1125 signals are still pretty sweet for OEM units. Have you seen the big yellow things on the CBR models? Yuck...

Everyone has....

Their's WORK!

LOL

hi all, new to the forum. Wondering if anyone can help me out. I plan to buy a 1125r 2008 ex-demo (low K's) is there anywhere I can get a comprehensive list of factory updates that should be done before I take delivery. Thanks

Thomas, Welcome to badweb and Buell. Just have the service manager pull the VIN up. It will show what updates apply to the bike and have or have not been performed.

Its a shame that the factory ones die so quickly.

Well, my left rear went today on the way home from work, I was sitting at the light waiting to make a left and the turn signal start to flash very quickly. I put it in N and reached back with my hand, nothing. I am going to take it to the dealer tomorrow and see if I can get it replaced; 1790 miles.

Yeah, mine just went out at ~2500 miles. Gotta say though, the service manager at Corona HD took a bike OFF THE FLOOR so he could replace it on the spot. Those guys rawk.

WOW I wish my dealer would do that, they had non in stock, had to order and I am still waiting. I am now forced to use hand signals when making a left; I am not sure in Virgina if they still teach people ( car drivers ) what hand signals are.

Cross posted from Buell-forums:
"I was told that an improved turn signal is now available. The new ones will have a white band on the wires to show it is of the new and improved type."

If anyone has seen them it would be nice to know.
