hi, does anyone know roughly how many hours it takes to completely tear down and put back together an 1125r? Thats what has to be done to mine after i wrecked it, because of frame and swingarm damage, they started on it today, so any ideas on when i should get it back?... I've been bikeless for 2 months now and am REALLY anxious to get it back.. THANX ALOT, Jake |

The amount of time it takes to do the work and the amount of time it takes the dealership to complete the job are totally unrelated. I would not be surprised if you have another two months of waiting. If you're lucky- it will be sooner. You are walking a thin line here... be proactive in contacting the dealership about progress, but be very careful not to "pester" them- many service dept's will actually work slower if they feel "pressured". It's ridiculous but true. Slam a double-shot of patience- it'll do you good. |

+1 and then some RBJ. Most of the needed parts should show up quickly. You might wait a week for an o-ring tho, so hang in there. Mine was down for a month and I took a few demo rides to ease the pain. Z |
