I have the composite sliders with the Delrin button from DH. They work great. I am really glad that I spent the money on those things. I performed a real world test (low side @ 30-40mph) a few weeks ago and did not get one scratch on the swing arm or front forks due to the axle sliders. I also had the long Delrin bar-end sliders from DH, but I was not as impressed with their performance. It worked and took all the damage, but the screw bent so that it was crooked afterward. I guess it did what it was inteded to do, but I switched to Rhino bar ends. The DH compression fitting (rubber high pressure hose) did not appeal to me that much. But like I said, the slider absorbed the damage, so maybe I am asking too much. BTW- The radiator outer cowls, "pods", also work great. Mike (Message edited by kttemplar on August 29, 2008) | ||

Wished i had the sliders the other day when I was moving my bike in the garage in my sandals (I know, I'm an idiot) and lost my footing when my sandal snagged on something, broke my toenail, and the bike laid over on the pods. Scratched up the swing-arm, and the pods did their job. I think I'll be able to buff it out actually. | ||

Mike - Thanks for the review. As a result of customer feedback, we've incorporated many improvements into our sliders over the years. We sell replacement parts if you need anything. However, yours is the first feedback that we've received regarding the bar ends. In order for us to understand what happened, can you tell me if the screw was torqued in accordance with the instructions? Brent - yours is a familiar story. We've received quite a few orders where we are told that the owner had considered purchasing sliders but never got around to it. Then, the bike gets dropped... Skully (Keith), The screw was torqued in properly and in accordance with the instructions. The Bar-ends did exactly what they were supposed to do and well worth the $30 for me. As far as replacement parts go, I will probably be contacting you in regard to the right side Delrin button for my axle slider. It worked like a charm. I highly recommend these sliders from Dark Horse. They not only look good, they really do what they are supposed to do, absorb damage, so your bike does not. Mike | ||

Phil - We do have EcoSliders for the 1125R forks but not for the axle. Is there series for the axle that would fit your needs? We have Composite (Delrin/aluminum) and the race ready in both aluminum and hard coat anodize. Keith | ||

Keith, What are the chances of getting a clutch cover "puck" slider? When I low sided the "stock" puck ground off and did not hold up at all. If I had one made of Delrin, I would probably not have to replace my clutch cover. Mike | ||

The new rev. b clutch cover has a metal backed slider. Had to replace mine as well.  | ||
