Ok I sold the X1, so I am getting a 1125r, possibly this weekend, or tomorrow. I was going to wait for a white and blue one, but i don't think I can. Also, I might be able to cut a deal on an 08. Does any one have check list of the recalls, fixes and flashes I should look out for before I accept the bike? j- | ||

Depends on the build date. Zero in on a bike, check the date on the neck and come back with that. Only recall is the "fifth gear oil jet", I think it's for pre-June or July bikes. There was also an ECM flash for pre-May build dates. PM me the VIN and I'll check it on H-D net. Z | ||

Just have the service manager run the VIN number. Any service bulletins that apply to the bike will show up. | ||

You WILL be able to get a deal on an '08. The dealers have big incentives to move out the '08 inventory. | ||

Yup, you'll get a deal for sure. My dealer, who is a strict MSRP dealer, was willing to give me $1200 off the bike, waive frieght and setup, and add $500 to my trade if I took an '08. I don't recall who it is, but there's a sponsoring dealer on here blowing them out for $9,300. | ||

The $9300.00 gave me a call but I was unable to answer it. That sounds like a smoking deal, I've seen used BMW and Ducati's more expensive than that. If he's reading this, call again tomorrow. J- | ||

Best current numbers for an 1125 it appears. For those after a Ulysses he has an ad trying to deal on them though not as discounted. | ||

If the recall needs to be done still the dealer shouldnt let you take delivery of the bike. They can still sell you one, just cant let you have it till the recall is done. But if the dealer is on the ball then it should already be done with the latest reflash. |
