When changing out the stock muffler for like a d&d will the fuel adapt change? And has anyone installed a aftermarket pipe that can comfirm there computer fuel adapt has done this? It also seems that the D&D gains were better than others?I really like the looks of the d&d.Makes it look more naked. |

I just got a D&D on mine this week. I can't vouch for the HP gains as I will be getting it Dyno'ed next month. The look is growing on me and I lucked out and it was the Ti look which goes great with all the silver on the bike. I love the mean as hell sound but be prepared to find out which neighbors really like you or not.

I lookin in this post to see if the fuel adapt has changed on a 1125 with a exhaust change. Mine stock now is 105 rear and 95 on the front. I am located in ohio.Blazin did you put headerwrap on the d&d? |

Yes, I had already wrapped the headers previously to cut down on some of the heat so I just carried it through to the D&D. I haven't messed with checking the front and rear values yet but Rainman might have, check with him. I've got a couple of more things to do before I start checking all the diag. stuff on her. Rainman ,those wheels were swapped from a buddies '03 Lightning. |

I got a D&D that im plan on slapping on today. Do you need new gaskets or can you re-use the old ones? |

We put D&D slip ons on our race bikes. Aside from being drag race loud- this pipe will break any and all sound restrictions that any race clubs/public streets would have. The pipe also ran the 1125 very lean below 5000rpm. to the tune of 17:1(fuel/air) or worse. We remedied this with a race ECM. Hp gains were only 1-2hp. Fun pipe for the track but I think its too lean and loud for the street. Waiting for a hi flo air filter of some type. Our 1125s gained 8hp on the dyno without the air filter!!!! PS- DO NOT RUN YOUR BIKES WITHOUT THE AIR FILTER PLEASE...ITS NOT WORTH IT. Unless you enjoy engine rebuilds of course. |

I had the K&N in mine when the dyno was done, that could have made a diffrence. |

Rainman could you give me the PN for the K&N filter? Their website has no info on air filters for 1125Rs. |

PN 33-2370, not made for our bikes but easily modified to do so. will need to trim the sides about 1/8 in. to get it to fit. |

Bb, they're a tight fit ,no gasket needed but I did use a little RTV to help slip it on and seal any possible leaks. |

Yeah I found that out last night when i put it on. All i got to say no sewing machine sounds for me! the bike sounds insane and I'll post a little vid of it idling some time. The bike sounds crazy at high rpms and louder then my dads FXRS. but might need to invest in some ear plugs or a more sound proof lid. |

So my question is if its that freakin' loud, why doesn't D & D offer an optional baffle? |

So my question is if its that freakin' loud, why doesn't D & D offer an optional baffle? They do offer a baffle which mine was supposed to come with but didn't. that's ebay for you. but its loud but bearable, i would just be worried to take my bike into NYC or any major city with fear of tickets. |

The guy I got mine from (thanks Kevin) had a baffle made that I fiber wrapped and put in. I don't think it's doing much for muffling sound but hopefully there's enough back pressure to help with the lean issue. Is there a pic of D&D's baffle out there ,I'd be curious to see their design. |

I'm curious what effect the new 09' map is going to have with my D&D since this pipe was originally designed for stock 08 map. (Message edited by bueller_bjorn on August 07, 2008) |

I have the D&D on my xb12s and was curious if the D&D is significantly louder on the 1125r. I'm thinking about getting a 1125, but I heard the stock exhaust and could never live with it so looking at different options. |

Bueller - try changing the code so that "H-B-M" is lower case: "hbm". It works - hbm and Hillbilly-Motors |
