Stopped by the dealer and ordered a new "Kick Ash" wind screen ($59.95). Parts guy said they were back ordered until the end of the month! |

Bruce(Flh03rider) or anyone, I like the kick ash screen myself and wondering just how dark it is and if it will help seeing the guage cluster in bright sunlight? Anybody else having this trouble? |

Bob, from the pics on the Buell site it looks like a medium tint...should help the glare and certainly look much cooler! |

Thanks Harlan, checked it out and I think I'll wait for Zero Gravitiy's dark smoke. A little more expensive but the darker the better for a sun shade. |

Bob, Like Fresnobuell said it's the medium tint which will look way better than the clear. If they would have had the extra dark tint like the short windscreens you can get for the Electra Glides I'd be all over that! |

I love the Hero Blue as well! I'd like to try the windscreen AND the airbox cover on mine, but it appears they don't sell the airbox covers anymore. |

I'm with you Bob. I called Zero Gravity back in Feb. and there was no release date at that time. They put me on the list. Have you heard anything new? I thought the same thing that the darker screen would shield some of the glare. I don't think it would help when you're riding with your back to the sun though. But,anything that will help... |

Nothing new from Zero Gravity Brian, just sent them an e-mail inquiry. Will post when I hear back from them. Bob |

I'd love one that is smoked to about half way up the shield. That way when your in a full tuck you can still see through the shield wearing a tinted visor. |

Jeff Lindaman just e-mailed me from Zero Gravity and all he said was nothing yet and thanked me for my patience. Hopefully soon. |

UPDATE: Just got an update from Zero gravity and Glenn Cook said they have a prototype windscreen developed and are making some changes, then will be doing "fitment" testing. He said he wished I lived in southern California so he could use my bike for fitment. If someone cares enough and wants to volunteer, give him a call. Zero Gravity should be in the phone book or check out their web page at "www.zerogravity-racing.com" |

}FOR ALL CA BUELLERS To avoid anyone getting unwanted attention from the LEO's, steer clear from any after market windscreens in red, blue, or amber...those are illegal.... Yeah, yeah, I know, They look Friggin awesome, but it makes you a target for motorcycle hating LEO's.... Windscreens in those colors which are OEM for a bike are ok (that's the only reason they were allowed for the firebolts....And even then, you get a reall motor hater (Who doesn't know what the stock bike looks like), will hassle you for the legal ones as well...your chance to educate some of these guys.... If I wouldn't get in trouble for it, I would put a hero blue double bubble on my 25...that thing looks bad ass.} |
