There may be a thread on this already and if there is, I apologize, but I didn't see any. Regardless a list of aftermarket items that are available for the 1125R would be nice. Maybe list the vendors, the parts they offer and maybe have reviews for the stuff in one place? The 1125R has limited aftermarket options at this point in it's lifespan and a spot in this forum would be a benefit to the members here. Maybe a sticky up top to so members, especially newbies like myself, would have easy access to the information? What do ya think? |

We have an 1125R here and are fabricating parts for it as we speak. We will be adding to our line of parts as time permits but we have managed to manufacture a few billet pieces. We are offering our parts in Black Anodize, Clear Anodize, Diamond Blue Anodize (coming soon approx 1-2 weeks) and of course uncoated for those of you who like to polish out the accessories. http://www.preeng.com/xcart/home.php?cat=7 Andy |

http://www.americansportbike.com has some items but their store has been in "maintenance" mode for over a week so you can't even look at the pretty pictures. http://www.darkhorsemoto.com/ has sliders and mirror block off plates. http://www.1125-r.com/ has factory accessories and LED tail lights. http://www.sporttwin.com/ picks up stuff on the cheap and has an ever-changing inventory. I check them occasionally. That's all I can remember for now. |

Cool. Not a lot for the 1125 as of yet I see but hopefully there will be more to come. Trojan has some interesting things that I might want like the Carbon fiber bodykit that is in the works. I also saw an interesting looking pipe on the 1125R site. V-Mod? Looked nice but apparently nothing ever came of it? Oh well, I appreciate the links and I hope this stays near the top so other newcomers can see what's out there for our bikes. |

Hey fellow "11" riders, Does anyone happen to know if there's a K&N air filter yet for the 1125R? If not, does anyone know off the top if the XB9/XB12R's airbox is roughly the same filter??? Thanx, Tracy |

I don't remember who discovered this but, K&N makes one for a Toyota (I think) with a P/N of 33-2370. Autozone can get them, the ones I checked had to order them. Neil S. |

I'm assuming that you're saying that the filter for the toyota might fit in the 11? |

The K&N has the have the long sides trimmed to fittment. The short sides do not need to be trimmed. You will have to screw some tabs to hold the bottoms to keep them from popping out as the Rubber straps won't hold the K&N in place due to stiffness of the Filter. I don't have my bike back from the shop yet as they dropped my engine out and lined the inside frame with self adhesive heat shielding to keep the frame cooler and wrap my headers. I will take pics as soon as I get it back later this week. |

TJ has the experience, I haven't purchased one yet. But it sounds like it will fit with a little work. Yes it's one for a Toyota. Neil S. |

Yes, I got one the same day TJ mentioned it. It is the same length but a little bit wider. Trim the sides about 1/4" and I cut the ends of the stock filter to fill in the small gap at the base. Since the K&N is stiffer and no wire mesh like the stocker it does not want to bend as easily and will take some patience to get on there right. For $29 dollars(Pepboys had 10%off K&N's that day) it was a worthwhile experiment and It'll do until someone comes out with one that's better. Toyota Camry but I don't remember which year. |

Hey again fellow 11's, Thanx for all the good info. on the K&N! Sounds like the Toyota filter is a good interim fix till one is made for our application. In the meantime, I also put in a formal request through K&N for both an air filter and one of those low-micron filtering stainless steel mesh, cleanable, reuseable oil filters that are similar to the Scott product. These are awesome filters that not only pickup the small stuff, but, flow much better, and clean up easily at changes. The quality is equal to what I use in the aircraft industry. It's the way to go on both filters...... Thanx again for all the help. Tracy |
