Well dropped the bike off at the dealer for the recall. While I was there David the parts manager walks up to me saying he has got those parts I had wanted. Parts? Oh yea now I remember!! I had forgot that I had him call Henrey Duga at Buell Racing for the 6mm front racing rotor and pads. Took awhile but David kept on top of it the whole time! Can't wait to bolt these up as I really dont like the stock pads on the track and the rotor has heat spots all over it. These new bits along along with the radial master off the xbrr should make for some interesting results. I will let you all know how it works out after july 13th track day. Oh and Tim aka smoke if you are out there. You are more then welcome to try this setup out at the track. Kudos to HD Buell of Baton Rouge and Buell Racing, thanks. How do you like these racing brake parts on the street? |

Love the radial on the street. Feels more in line with brakes on my ducati. So I am used to it. As far as the other stuff havent tried it yet but will let you know. I have run track pads on the street with duc and never had a problem. My brain is trained not to grab a handfull if someone pulls out in front of me. I like to run the same thing on the street as the track (except for tires). That way I always know what to expect from the bike. |

I just put the Nissin Race Pads on my bike too. I did a track day with the stock (street) pads and they got glazed over and didn't feel as powerful. The race pads feel much better and stronger. I would recommend them if you plan on doing a track day. They are a bit pricey, though. About $170... |

Where can you purchase the Nissin Race Pads? I'm looking to get rid of the pulsing I am currently getting with the fronts when pushing the bike. |

You need to have your dealer parts guy call Henrey Duga at Buell Racing to order them. I have the number but not on me at the moment. I'll send ya a pm with it later. Or you can use the search button. Just search "henrey duga" in the 1125r section and posts with the number will come up. |

01xjbuell, I will be at the 15/16 NHIS track day so I will see you there. It will be good to see another 1125R on the track. I installed the new rotor and brake pads recommended by Henrey so I am interested in seeing how they work out. I loved everything about the bike except the front brake when I had it out for my first track day earlier this year. |

I saw a set of EBC 'racing' pads on ebay for the 1125 yesterday. I wonder who sources the Buell racing pads...? I think they were about $50. How much for the Buell set? Jack |

I've never used the Nissin "Race" pads but I've used the Lyndall Gold and HH, the Ferodo's, the EBC HH pads and stock set. I like the EBC's the most. |
