Well, I am officially a "bueller" once more. Bought my 1125R yesterday but since I rode to the Dealer on my Street Glide, I opted to wait until today to pick it up. No biggie really since me and the family would be in the area anyway. Rode it home just now and I really like this bike. I have owned and roadraced a bunch of big sportbikes and litre size twins so it's kind of difficult to impress me but the Buell so far has really been a pleasant surprise. "slipper" clutch seems to work better than the one on my old Duc 996 and even the one on the ZX10R I sold a couple years back. Brakes seem like nice step up from the last XB I owned and the power is definately more than adequate. I haven't messed with the suspension yet and I probably won't until I get it to a racetrack but it seemed to be sprung appropriately which is more than I can say for any of the japanese sportbikes I have owned. Looks wise, I hated it when saw pictures a few months back but it grew on my and now I love it in person. Other people seem to as well since I got a few friendly waves and thumbs-up while I was bringing it home. Price was very reasonable too. I didn't get it for 10K but I did get it for less than MSRP and only 400 over after I paid my state taxes and all "fees" associated with a motorcycle purchase. I only rode it for 60 miles so my impressions are truly initial impressions but so far so good |

Congratz. There are always 30 or 40 bikes in the bike parking lot where i work. A huge assortment and no 2 bikes are the same. And everyone is always huddled around my 1125r. I have Hands Down The coolest bike at work |
