Before I hit the whooohooo button. ;D Got it from Surdyke H-D in Fenton MO Took about 4 hours to close the deal, but looks like it was worth it overall. It's tough keeping it under 4000 rpm! I only took one out for a 20 minute ride last Saturday, but I knew within the first 5 minutes that it was what I wanted. I've been on japanese bikes for the last 25 years because I never really wanted a harley all that much, but Buell's always kinda appealed to me. Unfortunately, they were out of my price range until this year. |

Congrats on the new bike, you will love it, and welcome to the board. FYI the first 300 miles is up to 6K RPM and 300-600 miles is up to 7500 RPM per the owners manual. |

Grats. I love mine despite the teething problems. Like Carmell said, crack that bad-boy up to 6k. I'm up to about 960 miles on mine. If you're ever in the KC area let me know and we can go riding together and freak people out making people think they're seeing double. |
