Just want to say hi to everyone. I just bought my 25r on thursday and I love it. I have been reading all your posts and mine runs bad up to 3500 rpm. My build date is 01/08. I'm going to have the re-flash done today to see if it helps. I haven't have the battery problem yet. It also likes to stall when your cruising 4500 to 5000 rpm and let it go completely to idle. I found I have to blip the throttle so it doesn't stall. Hopefully the re-flash will fix that. Thanks for all the info. Scott |

Welcome to the board Scott. The bike gets better and better the more you ride, just have to be patient with its quirks, it seems like with time as the ECM learns, it smooths out. I am at 700 miles now and it is starting to really wake up. Have fun with it. Rob |

Welcome Scott. I've had mine for about 4 months and the only issue I've had was the battery, but its been replaced. Other than that I'm loving it. Riding about 90 mph I get 35 mpg, but if I ride around 75 mph I can get up to 38 mpg. I don't remember my exact ODO reading and I can't go look at it cause my back tire is being replaced, but its past 9k and the threads were starting to show. It's costing $284 for the tire and labor and that's with 15% off because they didn't have the tire in stock. Wish you the best with your new ride. |

$284 WITH a 15% discount...don't tell me you took it to the dealership for the tire? But on the bright side, you got more than twice the average mileage out of the rear. Welcome. |

Cutty72: Where did you find your tire for $155? The installation fee is $95. I thought that was pretty expensive, but I didn't know of anywhere else to get my tire done. Cutty72: Do you do burn-outs on your tire? How is your tire not going to last till 3K? |

we charge 50 on the bikes and 25 off of them. Do you do burn-outs on your tire? How is your tire not going to last till 3K? i average 2500-3000 out of my tires on the xb's. no burn outs. the 1125 is at about 1700 miles and the back tire is roughly half gone. |

I have 2200 miles on my original tires and the back still has 4/32" of tread depth. Mike |

I have never done a burnout with this bike. I do commute 50 miles a day with it, so it's the middle of the tire that wearing. I ordered it from www.cyclesector.com, check them out. |
