Doesn't it blink until it reaches 151? I do not remember where the actual threshold was... or if there was one |

Yeah, It just blinks from whatever the temperature is until it reaches 150. At 150 is stops blinking and goes solid. I have seen it as cold as 40 degrees. But is always a number. |

The newer ones flash "cold", or that's what it says in the Elect. Diag Manual. Mine flashes the temperature until it gets to 151˚F This stuff is from our own "Slypirana" . Z |

Next time you call BMC-CS, ask them to check the production date. My frame just says Nov 07, but they told me Nov6th was "the day". |

The instrument in the left side of the fairing is a g-tech performance meter, which measures various performance variables such as horsepower/torque and others using an accelerometer. It will give 1/4 mile times and stuff like that based on acceleration. A really neat tool that has been in use for a few years by hot rodders and tuners. The one they have on this bike is the competition version. This is just one place that sells them: http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/gtech/gtechinfo.h tml Mike |

The red meter is of course, printed on the face of the meter, an air/fuel meter. http://www.fuelairspark.com/Instructions/170450.html Just in case anyone is interested in where to get one or what it does.
