Hi all, Does any one see or know of any problems that would affect my warranty if I do my own oil changes. Im still a ways off from the first service, but would really prefer to do the servicing myself. Thanks in advance Rob |

Keep your receipts for oil & filter as a "just in case." Follow the checklist in the owner's manual for the 1st service, and watch out for the oil when you drain it. I believe the best luck has been with the kickstand in the oilpan & covered with either a plastic breadbag or aluminum foil. Check this link for some of the things folks here have tried - http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/353429.html?1209089434 Doing the 1st service, which is basically a once over & oil change, yourself will not void the warranty. If a dealer refuses to do warranty work on your bike because they tell you the warranty is voided due to you performing the 1st service, I'd find another dealer...FAST.
