I guess now is the time to say hello, I'm new to the board and new to Buell (old Honda guy) and going through the growing pains with my 1125r and all the issues that are yet to be ironed out. I contacted Power Commander about a plug in unit for the 1125r and got a message back saying that they are taking a look at it, but are hesitant to do anything because in the past Buell has used pretty unreliable engine management systems. Not sure what to take from that, but I offered my bike up for testing if PC gets to that point, so hopefully if enough people bug them about it, they might take a harder look. Loving the thing so far, 650 miles and no issues other than the battery discharge and horrible low RPM mapping. Since I am a former 600 rider, I'm used to keeping the needle in the upper register anyways. Oh, and I am having an issue with the front tire coming off the ground so easily, seems like the bike has a mind of it's own.... |

Don't waste your time with Power Commander. I'm sure it won't be long before Direct Link or someone like that will have a system to make changes to the mapping in the ECM. |

That made me laugh. Power commander is a fisher price toy compared to what you can do with ECMspy. |

Are the ECM spy guys working on the 1125r ECM? I haven't seen it yet as a supported ECM. Technoresearch IS working on an 1125r tuner. |

Brent1125russ, Read your profile. In regards to more leg room I am 6' 2" and put 1" drop pegs from a XBS model on my 1125R and my legs are not so cramped now. You can either use the stock XBS pegs or buy the billet drop mounts and LSL pegs from American Sport Bike. |

Uly pegs drop an inch too. They also spread the down-force out better on my feet. Very comfortable |

Fisher-Price toy? Are you talking about 'My First Dollhouse' Fisher-Price or 'Dora The Explorer Jeep Wrangler' Fisher-Price? LOL! I loved the PC on my Honda but the Buell is lightyears beyond my old CBR, so I'm still at the bottom of the learning curve here. Thanks for the heads-up on the drop pegs as well, I will be ordering them and 30 lbs of ballast for the front axle soon. |

As far as the front wheel issue goes, try ramping up the preload on the rear suspension a couple of notches. Keeps her from squatting under hard acceleration and the front tends to stay down. |
