Looks like mine is leaking out of the neutral shift light indicator. I tightened it down and will keep an eye on it. Anyone else?

Certain it's not leftover residue from an oil change? |

Positive. There was a droplet of oil on the sensor and you could see the trail of oil. I cleaned it up and will be keeping an eye on it. |

Did you check the oil level? Mine seemed to be leaking from around the filter, but the oil level was WAY above maximum. After draining, the leaking stopped. |

I have the same problem with my bike. There seems to be oil leaking from the same area as in the picture above. I thought it might be coming from the nut that wire is screwed into, but that seems to be an adjustment for the transmission. Has anyone taken it to a dealer or found out where the oil is coming from. Is it from the nut behind the screwed-in wire, or is it coming from the back of the engine above it. This makes two so far, including my bike and the one mentioned above. Has anyone else had this problem? |

Yeah guys, I just took my bike in for the same thing. Except on the other side my bike is leaking oil from a hole right below the pegasus on the clutch cover. Why is that hole there? The oil filter leak was apparently due to improperly torqued screws after the last oil change. |
