I picked mine up at Sun HD's metric side, 10.95. JP Cycles has them too. Silver, gold, black, red or blue. Put the bird-shot in a baggie and slide it in the bar, then the bar-end caps it. Z |

+1 on the Throttlemeister. I just got the same set Neil has - A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT! Only rode the bike about 40 miles - but the vibes at 70 or so are gone. And the ability to "lock" the throttle makes for a nice plus on longer stretches. |

hard to say....I didn't feel that the 1125 has much vibrations to begin with....and haven't ridden more than 20 miles at a stretch so far with them tomorrow I might do a long ride and get a better "feel" for them LOL (Message edited by bobup on June 07, 2008) |

I put the Delrin barend (long) sliders from Dark Horse Moto on my bike. They are not weighted, but they will help protect the barends in a tip over or low speed dump, besides they match the front and rear Delrin sliders I have on the bike. http://darkhorsemoto.com/html/misc_sliders_3.html

Would you recommend axle and fork sliders? |

I would recommend them, but I am biased. I've got them and I think they look good. They may also decrease damage to the bike if I drop it or dump it at low speed. I am not planning on dropping or dumping, but you never know. I also park on the street in NYC pretty much every day of the week and I have found that people in New York, at least in the city, have a low level of respect for other people vehicles and property. If someone were to say, park on top of my bike, I am hoping that it will reduce the damage. Besides that, they are not too expensive and the rear slider that I have are grooved for a rear stand. If you get the composite (w/delrin buttons) sliders for the front and rear axle with the grooves for a rear stand and the bar end sliders it is a grand total of about $187. My deductible is more than that and if it reduces some of the damage, then it is worth it in my book. But most important of all, it makes me feel better. Mike |

Hello, folks. First-time poster, although I've been lurking for a few weeks. I have a question for anyone who's installed Throttlemeister ends on his/her 1125R: Would you kindly provide the part number(s)? I just got off the phone with a nice guy from T'meister who informed me "they're not making the product for that model yet." Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance! - Jon |
