All sport bikes pop up at some point even fat ass Busa's. My Ulysses was always in the air when the bags were loaded. You may just want to back off the throttle a bit in traffic. : )

Rdmwc,

You should rephrase your opening sentence.

It should say something like...

Is anyone else having fun keeping the front end up in the air?

I had that happen to me once. I was going to meet up with my family at the store and saw them on the road.

I thought I would just pass them to say hi. When I got up next to my wife's car I hit the throttle a little to pass them. After all I do not want my kids seeing me wheely on the street.

Sure enough I ended up with my wheel 9 inches off the ground the whole way past my wife's car.

Good thing my kids where sleeping and did not see me. BAd thing is my wife did NOT EVEN SEE ME. So that goes to show you.

She was looking for me on my 1125 and DID NOT SEE ME.

So be safe out there and keep it Shiny side up!

I've had the same prob. slightest crest in the road and up she goes.Much worse in a head wind. Just put a 60 profile tyre on the front to try and drop it a bit. If they bring out a belly pan that looks like its got a bit of downforce I'm having it. Big area for the wind to get under.

I took the test ride so I could get the water bag.... damn front end comes floating up. Just like a Buell. Unreliable traction.

I weigh 240, you'd think it would give in.

Clarkjw, you mean raise and soften the rear. Stiffening the rear will allow the bike to rotate over the wheel instead of compression on the suspension, thus resulting in more wheelies (unless that's your aim : )) Soften the rear, the rear squats and drives. Too soft though and it kills your rake and you'll have trouble with running wide on corner exits...

I think he is saying raise the tail to shift more weight forward. Then stiffen the rear to resist the shift of weight to the rear.
