Only 1000 miles, but know problems so far, should I do the ECM reflash? |

YES, I haven't had any problems with mine either, but after the reflash, it just made things that much smoother...something I didn't think was a possibility. |

It seems like there are some though that are complaining of problems after the reflash |

Mine's just shy of 4000 miles and it is absolutely perfect! I do have the small weep of dot4 out of the clutch slave but other than that, a perfect running machine. Thanks, Brandon, for asking that question. I have been wondering the same after reading about the various discrepancies after the flash. I learned that when I shut mine off, if I turn the key to 'Park' then back to 'Lock', the fans shut off. Maybe this is why I haven't experienced any charging problems either. I had to use the tender only once after I left the key on when parked. JJ |

If your happy with the bike I think I would wait for a while. Buell will probably have a few more versions of the reflash come out over the next couple of months. Thats just the way it is with new products. The dealer is just down the road for me, so its easy to pop in and have them done. I might have another reflash done tomorrow if a new one is out. That was the rumor. I'll let you know if its worth your time to have done. |
