Any question about either of their attitudes? I'll just bet they got a real kick out of this photo shoot. "Erik Buell the motorcycle designer can now add guitar designer to his list of accomplishments, thanks to an exclusive collaboration with Queensryche guitarist Mike Stone and Peavey, one of the world's largest manufacturers of musical instruments. Buell's friendship with Stone led to the collaboration with the Peavey Custom Shop. The Mike Stone Signature MS-1 guitar features an original contoured mahogany body shape developed by Stone and Buell. The neck contains inlay blocks with engraved road race motorcycle sketches by Buell. The guitar, which debuted at the NAMM Show January 17-20, in Anaheim, Calif., will be built to order in the Peavey Custom Shop. "Peavey's Custom Shop is a showcase of the hand craftsmanship that can go into a guitar. I am very proud they have chosen to build our design. Mike knew I played guitar, and challenged me to design a guitar that he would like as much as his Buell motorcycle. It's great to see we succeeded!" said Buell." Time2Roll Neil S. |

One thing I always liked about Erik was the lack of 'tude. |

John: I agree with you about Erik and not having any attitude when meeting him in public or buell functions. He has always been very approachable. My comment comes from the visual message portrayed in the picture, it is purely IMHO. I think it's really neat that a CTO from a major American company can be as diverse as he is and, stand up to the corporate pressure. Time2Work Neil S. |
