Dave (Dbird29), got the call this morning and will be sitting on it and looking at it on Monday as my deposit is down on one there, but I will not be taking delivery until March. Boy, does that hurt, I'm really anxious to ride it. Keeping my M2 so that will have to suffice for the few winter/good roads warm-ups until then. Les, there said they will hold one for me from their next delivery and the one you saw might become a demo. That would give anybody with interest a chance to try it out and maybe increase their sales of 1125's. Its hard to be patient but I must. That's great Bob. A demo bike will help the sales, that's why I bought my XB9S. I think the track day demo for end users and dealers helped build anticipation and appreciation for the new product. Salesman Les was reading the manual and was excited about the 1125R and the product differences from our track day experience. Will they prep/assemble your bike just before you pick it up? Hope to see you out there riding. | ||

Dave, yes they will assemble and prep the bike when I pick it up and probably test ride it to insure all is well. I'll be asking tomorrow if they will have someone trained specifically on the 1125. Maintenance by me later, except in the case of any warranty work. Like I said though, not until about March, when I can get it. Buell has said somewhere on here that they will be doing more Inside Pass days, maybe here at Millers, which will also help spur sales but by the time the weather is good enough for that I will probably have mine. If it were not snowing in Cedar City I would be tempted to ride the Lightning up there to take a look. I hope to do an Inside Pass next year so I can take one out on the track. I can't wait to see one in person. I am hoping I am one of the many who think they look better in person. | ||

Les sold me my 12s and he is definitely into buells. He has a uly and was at inside pass @ miller before. If they are demo'ing the 1125r I gotta try it. Wish I could afford one now. Soon though hopefully. Gonna go look at it tomorrow. |
