Well, the part number isn't active yet so I won't post it (them, actually - left and right)...but it looks like 1125r mirror assemblies with the LED turn signals will run about $60 each retail. Sweeeet. My S2 is begging me for a pair. |

Yeah, but I wonder what the stalk length is and if they'll place the mirrors out far enough on the Firebolt fairing... |

Not having had a set in my hands, I'd have to base this only on suspicion...but the head and stalk are made as 2 seperate pieces...I'm sure you could find a way to put 1125 mirrors on 12R stalks. I didn't get to ride a bike with mirrors at the class, so I don't have a frame of reference for the length, sorry... |

speedzilla.com has integrated mirror / turn sigs that look nearly identical to what the 1125 will be sporting. To look at them in pictures (the stalks in relation to the size of the mirror itself) it appears to be shorter than the '04 and later Firebolt mirrors. I emailed them once to ask how long the stalks were. Got no answer... YMMV yada yada |

Speedzilla, same kind of rubber cover on stalk. 169.00 Honda Superhawk, Buell XBR - black Kawasaki ZX-6R black and "carbon look" http://www.speedzilla.com/mirrors.shtml All look the same YMMV. The one for the Ducati http://www.speedzilla.com/DucSS-signals.shtml looks like it might be OK, maybe with some work. Z |

For those interested in the 1125R mirrors-parts manuals were received today and the mirror part numbers are active in h-dnet. The mirrors are priced at $58 each. The mounting should be the same except for the diameter of the mounting bolts. You will also need to route the turn signal wires somewhere. Buell does not recommend drilling a hole through the fairing bracket. I think that there should be enough room to run them between the bracket and the fairing. Anyway, if anyone wants to order the mirrors just let me know. Thanks, BudC |

Just an FYI. Since the turn signals are LED based the XB line will not have the proper load on the turn signal circuit making the flasher "think" one of the flashers is out causing it to flash at a higher rate. The 1125R uses the cluster to power the flashers, it has no flashing relay, like the XB does. |

The "easy" way to do this is measure the resistance thru a stock XB signal, and wire a resistor from radio shack inline to the LED mirror. Or, if you go to American Sport Bike, he has LED flasher units that are time-based, and not resistance based. Got one on my S1W with LED flashers, works great |
