Thanks Anon - and XB9, just so you know, the dealer isn't spouting "BS". The only info I have on the six units coming to my dealer (as of my last check-in on Tuesday) still show the same estimated ship dates starting on 11/8/07. The dealer is only as good as the information they're provided, and right now it appears Buell is more concerned with building a bike correctly than they are with updating H-Dnet order status sheets. That's perfectly fine by me - I'd rather have a perfect product late, than a problem bike on time. |

Final build "practice" will be complete on Friday, 10/26. Don't read toooo much into it, though. Soon, dear friends of Buell. Soon. Very soon. The Buell World Headquarters in ET is buzzing with electric excitement! |

>>>>The Buell World Headquarters in ET is buzzing with electric excitement! That's an accurate statement. Most of it is the 1125r but there's more . . . much more! Very cool stuff. |

I've never been so excited to spend 12grand in one place! I feel bad for you who have had the chance to ride the prepro bikes. For sure the waiting after that experience has been painfull. no,,, maybe it's just that i'm jealous Anony, Thank you! Ditto to the BMC (Message edited by Sheridan_Bueller on October 29, 2007) |

It will be a slow ramp up, with lots of checking and inspections for the first few weeks to make sure all of the processes are in place to keep quality under control as the line pace increases. So, right now there is no prescribed daily output, the requirement is to meet or exceed the quality goals. |

Anony, by all means, take your time and don't worry about daily output! For sure quality goals will be exceeded! did i say that out loud.... |

I am curious about the shipping schedule - will it be done as-completed, or more like the "Rocker", where HD has decided to wait until they have a small army of them on the docks and ship at least one to every dealer at the same time? Puh-leeze...ship me something besides a (fourth!) Arctic White Blast!!!

I can only imagine what the 1125R is doing to your production floor. A totally different model with all new parts presents a challenge for sure. We are presently going through verification builds on three different models at the same time on our two assembly lines. We have added a lot of parts to the assembly lines because the new parts are not replacing old parts due to other models that still use the older parts. We are packed to the brim to say the least. So I understand trying to work through the design, testing, design verification builds and field testing. So good luck with the set ups and better to be a few weeks late than to release a product that is not quite ready. |
