Ceejay: just google it like I wrote it (Memphis Shades Cockpit) and you'll get lots of hits. Did you have #23? Ya know, I think in a year or so there'll be a boom in used Buells getting converted to track bikes. Probably 1125R sales, too - though not to people who can't budget for both track days and a loan for an 1125R. Like me. Seriously, I'd recommend Inside Pass to anyone who's not looking for a formal track class, but is looking to scratch an itch they've always had. Especially if you get a demo ride on an 1125R along with it! Don't worry about it being your first time, either - lots of folks just wanting to help will be there, too. |

You know, I didn't even think about it (which speaks volumes). I only rode one 1125R, but the fuel injection on it was absolutely and totally flawless. |

Yep-#23. Thanks for the info, I looked up MS but didn't think to put cockpit on the end. Agreed. |

I need to post a after pic of the bike. It handled the dirt dismount rather well. I went to Nelson Ledges on Sat. and raced in the mini endurance race. I came in 5th out of 8. The top 3 riders posted 23 laps, 4th place did 22, I got in 21 and 6,7&8 did 19. After the race my wife told me she thought it was going to be the longest 30 min. of her life. Needless to say, she had a huge smile on her face and couldn't believe how fast the time went by and how much fun she had...... she may be hooked! |

I wish I could afford a track only bike, but I was EXTREMELY happy with my current bike on the track! ONCE I GOT A FEEL FOR HOW THINGS WORKED (cap's because that is the key here) I felt 100% comfortable throwing it into full lean. Sadly, it took most of the day for me to realize that this track is perfect, and these tires are great, before I got to that point. |
