I'm guessing that he was trying to say that he's going to the Inside Pass day at Pocono Raceway later this week...? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/306620.html?1190418659 |

Can you blame them? Most of the guys doing the "harley class" dont ride Buells. At least they are putting themselves out their and giving the salesmen the opportunity to get on the bikes. |

Does that mean no hot laps in the school? Even though they say bring leathers if you have them? Sucks.... I will be there tomorrow also. |

We had a couple guys go to the VIR day, and they said it was a good day. They didn't let Bemisderfer get all competitive like he likes to do, but said they kept a good pace and had a good rotation thru the chain - i.e. lead rider taps his lid, second drops outside, third and subsequent move up on the inside. I know when we did the XB / VRSC / Dyna days about a year and a half ago in Vegas, Tripp gave me s**t because I kept "whacking that rev limiter there in turn 2". My sheepish shrug netted "hey...it's not *your* bike, right?" LOL. We had plenty of fun. Depending on the squirrel content in the classes Weds, I suspect we'll be able to have a good time on the 1125r as well. I've found the instructors react very favorably to a good class; squids piss them off and they pull back on the fun strings a bit. Understandable enough. I'm just hoping it doesn't rain. |

Take a look here for my thoughts: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/309238.html?1190905479 In Jake's defense, it was hard to gather my thoughts after riding the bike. It was so amazing on so many levels, I couldn't believe it. The people were awesome, the bikes were awesome...and I didn't get rained on until I was half an hour from home. LOL. |

Thanks Rat... I Just read your post/review and it was spot on! Everyone should read it. I'm still coming down... What a ride. Hard to tell if having the speedo covered was a hindering or a god-send... At first I had a hard time realizing (even though I could see it) where the rev limit was. I was also getting off the throttle too soon. Snapping up in gear was butter... And the slipper clutch will let you drop 2 gears and it just goes where you point it... No rear wheel lock or slide! It was the best bike I've ever rode. |
