OK guys, lets give the Buell marketing folks some free data on what the next 1125 style should be. They started with the road race Firebolt style as they should but what do we want next. 1) Naked, hooligan (Lightning S or Ss) 2) Dual sport/adventure (Ulysses) 3) Sport touring (ST3 Thunderbolt) 4) Pseudo Motard (STT) 5) Other I'm waiting for a naked bike. The minute they make one, I'm there. |

I vote #3. I imagine a naked bike with side-mounted radiators would look mighty hideous... |

i vote 6 also, we ahve the lightnings to cover the naked buelligan streetfighter style. so in essence i think full fairings with a catch pan. |

Sport Tourer. Hands down. I would trade my '07 today if they had one. |

number 3 would be my favorite, but would probably not knock the socks off of the sales numbers. Probably a naked bike, or a full on race bike would sell better. S1 and RR style. REX |

I can't say until I see the existing offering in person.

New Ulysses, minus scoops, stretch my wheelbase and put the one radiator behind the forks please, or just leave the side radiators uncovered. |

Let's start with a full faired version (5) and offer bar risers, touring wind screen, hard bags, and Driving lights to yielding(3). |

I like my ergonomics to be of the "relaxed fit" variety, so the !!25R will be a bit tight for me. (I have a ZX-10R with LSL handlebar conversion & Vortex rearsets) However, I do like the !!25R's quiet cockpit concept and the safety of having all those headlights blazing when riding at supra-legal speeds on a Sunday morning ride. Therefore, if the aftermarket comes up with bar risers and lower footpegs, I will probably go that route. On the other hand, when Buell produces a Lightning version (handlebars and lowered pegs), that would be very tempting. Without a fairing there will be quite a bit of wind blast on the rider, but that would keep speeds down.......a safety feature! And, as you people know,.........safety first! Gotta have number one. Keep it like the XBS and the Tuono, a full sportbike with less plastic and more comfortable ergos. Keep the high-end suspension and DO NOT DE-TUNE THE ENGINE. |

Definitely #1 Even though I'd probably go for the current configuration if I were to buy one, this is a Buell, there needs to be a naked version. If they released it with the current specs it would possibly be the most powerful naked twin on the market. |

I am looking at a new bike from the light-ST perspective... so #3. But, I'd really need to ogle & fondle the bike as-issued though. Based on all the specs & early feedback, it sounds like a fun machine. |
