When you help engineer a top-notch product, and see it bashed by "experts" armed with erroneous facts and assumptions... ...well, most of the time you are simply left to grit your teeth, internalize some anger, and then just move on. The folks at Buell have a magnificent way of keeping their blood pressure in check by posting through the Anonymous tag. Most corporations would never allow this. Buell really has something pretty special going on, and I hope that never changes. While understandable, the name-calling by someone posting as "Anonymous" on this thread wasn't very professional, nor did it do much to advance the purpose of the thread, and I hope it wasn't done by anyone associated with Buell. There is a difference between understandable and justifiable. Edits: The references "top notch product" and "bashing by experts" were intended to be generic in nature, and were not referring to the 1125R nor the banter on this, or any other, BadWeb boards. Yes, that would be understandable to a point, but I didn't see any bashing of the 1125R going on...except maybe that stuff Buellinachinashop posted...but he said that he heard that info directly from a Buell insider, so that makes him just the messenger. Hey, I have heard HD dealerships say stuff about Buell that was worse than that. Other than that, I just really didn't see much bashing. I personally love the new bike and have said so many times, as it is the first one to really turn my head in a long time. There has been a lot of gritting (or gnashing) of teeth and internalized anger being displayed in this thread and others...by the Anonys. And a lot of whining! I saw questions being asked, and follow-ups being questioned...sounds like the good ol' "two-way communication" that Erik was requesting in the latest FUELL. Don't ask for things that you don't want! Maybe you guys just didn't get that memo or something...but it is right there in FUELL to read. I have put his and Matt Kings quotes in some of my other posts for all to see and they have been summarily ignored...it appears. So, Anonys, do you want to hear what we think, or not? Do you want to know if we agree with what you have put together or not? Do you want our input or not? Do you want to hear our praise and our criticisms about this new motorcycle or not? These are all things that your company has expressed the need for in no uncertain terms, but when some of us attempted to do that...well, you know the rest. If this stuff is not just lip service, stop yer' whining and take it like men. These are not Presidential news conferences we were talking about here, where you only get one question without a follow-up. We all aren't lobbing soft balls for you to hit out of the park. If you, as a vendor that has come on to a web site and enter into a conversation, don't be surprised if folks with as much passion as you have (only they aren't getting paid for it) show an inquisitive interest in what have to say. It is our money that you are trying to get, and even though you have a "top-notched product" (and at first blush, it certainly seems like one to me), you still are selling something. BTW, no disrespect meant, but are you a real Buell factory authorized representative or one of Blake's impostors. I have to ask, because we are now being told that not all Anony's are the real deal, even though they all talk like they have the straight insider info. I think that this question is pertinent every time an Anony post something so we will know whether it has any credibility. That is only fair that we know who we are dealing with when they are telling us something. There is a difference between understandable and justifiable. It may be a little late for this after all the wasted bandwidth, but my use of "mix and match" was merely to denote a combination of SAE and metric without going to the hassle of typing out "a combination of SAE and metric". Which I've now had to do. Twice.  No malice was intended. (I don't think any was taken by anony, either). Sorry to spoil airbody's fun!
