I just picked up the 1125 brochure, which has some sweet pictures in it--but most of the info we have already seen on the minisite. What was really cool is my sales rep gave me her "newsletter for Buell sales professionals" called "Sport Minded". It has some real insight on some of the marketing strategies and direction from BMC. Also it has a statistical breakdown of the 1125r's primary competition, the GSXR1000, Ducati 1098 & Aprilia RSV 1000. It also had a sweet 16x18 poster of our 1125 knee-draggin' in a corner! I will try to scan some of the info in and post soon, guys. | ||

i hate you guys the closest thing to a buell dealer here that i have found in korea is the afees new car sales guy and he didnt know what i was talking about when i asked him about the new 1125r. So i cant get that stuff. and by the time i can get that stuff i will most likely be getting the bike. | ||

I got mine today, and although I can't stand the scoops on the pictures I've seen before, I'm beginning to warm up to the bike's pictures on the brochure. I think I'll hold judgment on the scoops until I see the bike in person. THANKS BUELL FOR THE BROCHURES - take care of us who love Buells, and you'll go far! One more thing - don't forget after-market accessories!  | ||

Got mine. VERY nicely done. I clearly don't understand the valving (fingers)description so I need to study that concept a little more. I was dreaming about it when I woke up this morning. The photos are very nice and the brochure is great quality. It is something to pass around to let others see. My one question remains the sound of the engine and exhaust. I am very curious how it sounds when wound up a bit. As a Uly rider I don't see this particular model in my future exactly but it could be interesting to see how this power-plant evolves into the rest of the line.... if it does. | ||

I got mine today. I was out of town and my son called me to tell me I got a "package" from Erik Buell. I was really wound up wondering what on earth Erik Buell would be sending me?!! Anyhow when I got home and saw the brochures it was kind of a let down compared to the kid at christmas anticipation I had been feeling. The brochures are very nice though, and it is nice not having to beg for them at the dealership. | ||

Got mine in the mail today too. Made me walk a little funny on the way back from the mailbox. What a BEAUTIFUL machine. I was going to hold out for the 09's, but I think it will be hard to resist if I find out Independence Buell gets one in anytime soon. I told the sales guys over there to be looking for this bike months ago. They didn't believe me, but I had faith Erik and Co. would come through for us. Very nice mailer! Now what were they saying on TV about if you have a stiffy for more than four hours, you should seek immediate medical attention? |
