I'm confused as to why some of the folks on this forum seem to feel so betrayed by the fact that Buell went with a non-sportster engine. Is it because it's not Harley, because it's water-cooled, or because it's such a leap ahead that it might make the XBs seem too far behind the times? I'm just asking. I guess this happens when you have a loyal fanbase, but hey - I'm a Mac guy. I didn't feel 'betrayed' when Apple went Intel. Then again, I hadn't just bought a G5 either. |

You should've seen the things said when BMW introduced the water-cooled, inline four cylinder "K" bikes back in 1984! But it was that kind of radical sea change that made me FINALLY look at that brand. Here's hoping the Helicon engine has the same effect on Buell! |

It thought Dylan's first electric band, the one with Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper, was badass. |

I dunno...I don't know anything about Dylan... I just know that a lot of folkies thought he was selling out when he went electric. |
