I have been lurking this site for 3 years now. Putting my hopes on the little birdie. This year the little fowl delivered. I will have one of these as soon as they are available. |

I get my bonus in September. I'm currently waiting on my local dealer to tell me how to get on the list. So far, no info. |

>>>anyone know how Buell decides which dealers receive the bikes first? Based on sales volume? Geography? Yes. At this point, based on reading the Ducati boards, I hope dealer give preference to prior Buell owners. I'd say the 1125R have LOTS of folks all of a sudden saying "this is some serious hardware, I want to take a serious look". |

Court, I have a deposit down at a dealer about 6 hours drive away from me up here in Canada...when do you think based on previous Buell ownership as you mentioned that I might get delivery up here? |

I do not know. But your dealer will soon be getting phase 1 delivery dates. He'll have a schedule showing what he/she is getting and when. Keep in touch with your dealer for updates. I'd expect shipments to commence something on the order of October, which is just a guess based on what I am hearing. |

I'd expect shipments to commence something on the order of October, It would be VERY cool if I could get my bike in early October for my birthday. |

As of Tuesday, 10:00 AM CDT, I am on the list ! I didn't want the first one I told Andrew the Buell Salesman that I wanted the second or third one. I didn't want to be "The Guy" that bought the first one. Besides, it'll give the dealer a chance to practice on a bike or two before I get mine. |

Honestly, I don't see myself buying this bike. It makes me exceedingly happy that Erik has chosen to demonstrate his abilities in this way...but what am I going to do with a bike like that (146 hp at the crankola)? If I get another Buell to keep my X1 company...it'll be a Uly, TT or an XB12. I'd be very happy with either of those. |

Come get your deposit in line now, we will have postings of numbers available and a tracker of days until the unit arrives at our store. Damn I wish we had a decent track in our area code to ride this thing on. |

went into the dealership yesterday with 5k in my pocket to put down on a 1125, they say they aren't taking deposits in Calgary yet. i almost fell on my a$$ when the sales mangler stated the CDN price would be $15.9k + tax, using the posted price on Buell Canada's website ($13,600) the charge is over 2k for pdi, setup etc. i thought this to be a bit extreme when the dollar is almost @ par. the sales guy said that his hands were tied, the price was set by the "Canadian cartel" (my words, not his). an interesting point of reference, i can get a 2007 Aprilia Mille FACTORY for $15,500 cdn + tax, very tempting. (and i wouldn't be a beta tester) i might have to jump the border to get an 1125r, any information on good dealers in the US, close to the Alberta border? |

At this point, based on reading the Ducati boards... Court, I'd get a kick out of reading the Duc fanboy comments. What specific boards have you been monitoring? |

Bueller from Calgary, are you going to have any riding season by the time you get the 1125r? Perhaps it would be wise for you to wait until the spring to go shopping. Then you might not be as much a beta tester?... |

Twisted, about how many will you receive per your "allotment"? Just curious about a high volume Buell dealer vs. the low volume I have here. Nice to see excitment at the dealers, this only means good things for the customer (unless of course, the employees keep buying up all the bikes!) |

up here in cowgary you sometimes can ride every month out of the year, point well taken though. the s1 will suffice in the meantime. |

if Buell sets MSRP on the Canadian Buell site in Canadian dollars that is what the stealerships should sell them for period. Why does Deeley get to mark up everything as soon as it crosses the border...ASSININE in my opinion, especially when the dollar is almost on par with USD right now. very frustrating for us die hard Buellers up north. |
