There seems to be an astounding *lack* of pro-series parts in the current online catalog (looking across the board)...unless you count three different types of sparkplugs and a bike cover... Even the XB12R only offers an air filter, a oil pump gear, suspension springs and an ignition module. (Plus the three spark plugs and the all-important SYN3 LOL) |

In the Last Issue of Fuel they were Pimping XBRR parts for buells.. Swingarms, Slipperclutch, Chaindrive, etc. You would think they would have that stuff on the website.. I have the pro-series suspension being a heavier guy it made a big difference in how my bike handles, I added a Steering Damper, Crossroads bars and a Corsa III's I have to say IMHO it's one of the best damn handling bikes I've owned. I know buell can't be the aftermarket but a little more support would be appreciated as far as the pro-series |

The bike isn't going to be in dealers for 5 more months - until... November? You're already complaining about not being able to buy aftermarket accessories? Give the poor folks at Buell a minute or two to catch their breath!! (Message edited by slaughter on July 17, 2007) |

I sounded a bit whiney above so apologies (kinda) Of course you know I emailed Buell Racing about race goodies the FIRST DAY I could get to a computer after they announced the beast! (and like all other mortals, am having to wait) This bike opens up HUGE opportunities in the aftermarket. I fear we'll no longer see Factory race kits as we did in the past since DOT and EPA requirements are being more rigidly enforced. :-( |

How about a nice across the bottom triple clamp steering damper (like the one Innovation sold or sells)? |

will there be colored windscreens to match the ones carried for the firebolts and lightnings? |

At least we're sure to have color changes in the following years. *wink* |

I think the "lack" of Pro-Series parts can be attributed to the LEO crackdown on non-stock bikes across the country. Even though they state the parts are for "Race Use Only", there might be some liability in selling them. That's just a hunch. |

Who knows, H-D sure sells a whole lot of Race Tuners... please guys, direct-link is not very good and it isn't a Buell product. I know Race-Only is supposed to be race only, but the current ECM is pretty hard to get for most people. A bolt on Race Kit like the last one would be great. Look how many 1098's have the termi/Ducati race kit. Also, most people have no clue as to what parts Buell Racing offers. I have an old communication with several parts listed, but a pamphlet like the little Screamin' Eagle book would be great! I'm sure I'm only saying stuff you are already aware of. Hopefully we see some new performance parts though. Josh |
