I won't buy one for at least 12 months after release...don't fancy being a development engineer again... |

Nope. Too deep in the '06 Ss payments, ergonomics are too akin to the Firebolt, and really not interested in water cooling. It's a thing of beauty, and I'll lust after it, but it's not practical for my needs. I'm REALLY envious over the '08 XB engine tweaks, though. ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on July 10, 2007) |

I'm with Big Daddy, I keep buying bikes the in the same colors and my wife can't tell em apart--not that she really cares as I never question the new china/couch/etc.Hmmm, retirement present to myself, or maybe we need one for the new business--yeah, that's it, a business expense. Maybe I'll finally get to use the personalized plate I had ready for the Firebolt I had a deposit on for 6 months awaiting the delayed Calif delivery. |

I'll await the "S" or see what enhancements Buell does with the motor to further wet my appetite. |

I put my name on the list with a deposit today. I was 6th on the list. That's rather incredible since the "store" as it were, only has been open 2.5 days after the announcement Asbjorn (Message edited by doerman on July 11, 2007) |

I will be waiting for the S model (or until 09). I'm just not in a position to pull the trigger right now and I'm having too much fun on my Uly. |

I put down the first deposit for a 1125R today at a sister dealer to Glendale. As I understand it the California HD/Buell dealers (if not all US dealers) have to have their bike order in by the 23rd of July. They will be basing their orders by their best guess and the interest shown by the public between now and then. By the time this bike hits the showroom it might be hard to actually buy one in some places if it takes off big outside the usual Buell crowd. |

I talked it over with my wife. GREEN LIGHT One Catch I just have to save enough fun money, so my payment is the same as it is now.. I just bought a new truck or I'd probably be at the dealer putting money down. So next summer at latest or sooner if I get a second job. |

I like it. It is probably the coolest, most innovative V-Twin to date IMHO (though the Ducs are still sexier). Still, I'm keepin' to the air lungers. |

Twisted.. Yes. I spoke with Ernie yesterday. I'm actually going over in person to plonk down the money today. I wonder if we should have a delivery party at Glendale when they all come in.. Get Mario to whip up a few burgers ... Well, he does that just about every Saturday for his customers anyways. |

I called Buell of Bloomington today and told them to snag one for me. Their information is that the first production bikes will hit the showroom for sale in December or January. |

First heard about the 1125 on this forum on tuesday and on Wednesday I was the first to place the $500 deposit down at the local dealer. Now I will have to be happy to watch the promo videos and anxiously await the bike mags evaluation of this next gen Buell. Thanks Erik. I truly hope that it IS all about the rider. If it is close to all the web site hype, I think we will see lots of current non-Buellers snatching up the 1125. If nothing else it will be interesting for sure!!! |

Tommy, that's cool and the best way to do it. You might well be the first to have the legal title to an 1125R! |

anyone know how Buell decides which dealers receive the bikes first? Based on sales volume? Geography? Just curious. |
