Does anyone know or has anyone heard if all this top notch technology will be rearing its head on the S or Ss models? A Lightning Long with 146 hp would sure be sweet! |

I don't see the Lightning models getting water cooling anytime soon. The air cooled lump makes sufficient power for street use. My opinion, anyway. Besides, it'd be hard to hide the radiators on a naked Lightning. For racing purposes, though, Buell NEEDED a modern, high performance engine. Now they can compete on the world stage in Superbike, not just in a "support" class! |

I really really want one. I will be upset if they don't come out with a S model. Streetfighter is what this bike company is about. Its been their catchphrase and cop out for not running with the litre bikes forever. Gimmie a S !!!!!!!!!! Thin Air |

20lbs more, Dry lbs. 1125R has a bit more liquid than the XB12. after you account for the water lbs. it's marginal. Low end grunt means more to me than top end HP. Notice the dyno results on buell.com don't show what it does below 5k. (Message edited by barker on July 09, 2007) |
