"From Bruce: ...While we are busy finishing up with HERO, the following have also been accomplished: -Incorporated in Wisconsin (Docs filed, tax ID, employer ID, etc. -Set up local bank accounts -Set up employee files... " A search of Wisconsin incorporation files don't show anything with the name Buell filed this year (except for a construction company). Nothing with Belfer either. However, there is an EBR Venture LLC filed in April. |

A Google search of "EBR Venture" comes up with listing for a business in Orlando, Florida. |

Considering what Bruce has invested already, I hope he is part of the future Buell/EBR iteration. DAve |

"Considering what Bruce has invested already, I hope he is part of the future Buell/EBR iteration" I agree with that. I hope he wins again. Vision over apathy. |

What has he invested? |

Time, a good sized chunk of good faith money, etc? |

And he's been paying the staff out of his own pockets apparently. |

"What has he invested?" Not so much 'invested' as 'spent'. Paychecks aren't an investment so much as an expense, even if you feel like you're investing in your talent (and by his own account, he does). |

paychecks? To who? He didnt own the company, right? I mean, the deal never went. So who was he paying? |

Paychecks to a handful of people taking care of some things while they were in "limbo", I suppose. I'm sure there was some stuff going on behind the scenes that most were not privy to. |

And it gives me a few more days to win the lottery to go in on it as well. Gotta win big though. |

Hybridmomentspass - maybe do a search here on BadWeb, news articles, Facebook (1190 if you're a member) AF1 EBR forum, and you can piece together that there's been resources working to bring EBR back to life with Bruce on point. Not a matter of him waving a number card at an auction, writing a post dated check then kicking back to wait for it to happen. DAve |

Bruce has also promised to let Erik do his thing and he'll worry about the business end. If anyone should get this company, it should be him. Nobody else has done dick (to use a little colorful Jersey jargon). (Message edited by SteveFord on December 05, 2015) |

Something must be going on, the NHRA approved this to compete in PSB for 2016 about a month and a half ago.

The bodywork was actually approved for the 2015 season and existed before the shutdown. (Message edited by snacktoast on December 06, 2015) |

3 days to know the outcome of the auction. Court date a few days later to bless the outcome of the auction. MAYBE some kind of official announcement by the winner of the auction immediately after that. Hopefully parts support (since one of the auction lots is spare parts) will come after that. The $2.5M question is when will we see new new-EBR motorcycles for sale. |

There's been a lot of harsh comments the past 6 months or more. Hindsight is 20-20. We do not all succeed the first time, second, or even the third. The difference is whether we give up or push on. I haven't seen anyone else here stepping up to the plate with funds to buy it. I look forward to some news soon and positive support from fans. |

I'm pretty certain that just about the ONLY people who are remotely interested at this point in if and when EBR is able to return or even the disposition of it's shattered assets if it can not, are Buell/EBR fans. The rest of the world has moved on. Despite being offered both private and deal bikes for demos, three prominent Moto journos refused to include the EBR in its 2015 superbike shoot outs. I'll just note the 1190 specs in mid pack on weight, and power peak HP and leads the class in torque and power everywhere up to 11K rpm. I would also note it has near identical power to this year's winner the R1, but with by all accounts, sharper handling. Just too late to the party. |

I would assume it's the same venue as last time, downtown Milwaukee at whatever courthouse it was. |
