My guess is the AX is going to be NOTHING like the RX or SX. I expect a complete new bike with a different engine, frame, etc. I do not think it is going to follow the Ulysses design. |

Like I said last March . . . . if you are expecting a "new Ulysses" you are going to be shocked and surprised. |

I just remembered something, whatever happened to that triple they were talking about a few years ago? Did that idea get shelved forever? |

Well, if the AX is NOT a water-cooled, 185 HP Ulysses, I wish they'd give us a clue what it WILL be. I may be riding an SX with bags and a windshield in a couple of years. |

Since there is a vacuum in the AX news department.... I would like to throw what I believe would be shocking and surprising. A simple to maintain single cylinder 700+cc air cooled engine, rotary spherical valve (no poppet valve parts), multi-fuel and about 285 pounds. A real stump puller using weighted and fluid ring vibration dampers. The engine could turn high rpms if the bottom end holds together. I just love the look, feel and pull of a thumper.

The other day A&S, the Roseville, CA dealer sent an email asking if I was still interested in information about the AX. |

That was it. If that is their idea of a tease it works. My curiosity is piqued. Maybe he was just clearing his list of people interested in EBR because it is so extensive. I haven't been back down there since I went to see the Blue SX and was mesmerized by the Red RX. If I had the money and the space I would get one of each. All I can do is drool and be eager for more info. |

I think they are finalizing the 2wd system. |

Both wheels will be hydraulically driven by a very small turbine engine spinning at a constant 30 thousand rpm driving a pump through a reduction gear. You heard it here first, folks. |
