Only a little mention of EBR, but an interesting article on Hero. http://indiaautoreport.com/hero-vs-honda-race-divo rce/ |

After reading the article I think the answer to the question. Why has the AX not been launched? The answer is most of the engineering staff is being used to bring the 250cc Hero models to production. |

I think when EBR finally launches the AX I will more than likely spring for one. |

The 250s? I'm seeing one 250 right now and it is from China. RX3 Coming in cheap, with a boatload standard. I'm thinking ADV AK. |

That's a cool-looking bike. I think a 250 'Adventure Bike' would be a hard sell in the US where highways are going to be a big component of any long ride, but I can imagine a bike like that being huge in Asia, South America, Africa and parts of Europe. The 620 Hastur engine in a package like that could be an intriguing option for the US market. |

I've read 18.5hp @ 9000rpm. 84mph for a top end. I usually keep it under 75 on the highway. I really brought it up to point out what is already available, and to question why Hero is not moving quicker? There appears to be more room in the engine area of the RX-3. Last I read about it was they were putting a 17" rim out back. http://californiascooterco.com/csc_cyclone_rx-3.ht m |
