 OK, I am in.... now where do I buy one and can I get certified service? I am quite sure that just asking the question seems akin to heresy. I will abide the onslaught and look forward to a realistic answer on before or after October 16, 2013. I am aware through some personal events that there are some past affiliations of which EBR might take good advantage. I am rooting for the best but it is hard for me to imagine what a dealer network will resemble, any ideas? | ||

Mog- I'd guess you won't see firm answers to those questions until after October 16. A list of dealers was up at www.ebr.com for a few days a couple of months ago, but some confirmed dealers weren't included in the list so it apparently wasn't final. Some of the dealers are already advertising the fact that they are EBR dealers. You can see a list of locations for dealers here, but no names or contact info: http://www.ebrdealer.info (note that there's a dealership in Wilmington). I believe I saw it posted here somewhere that EBR expects to pick up a lot of dealerships through the AIMExpo next month. | ||

I live near Cincinnati, and last I heard, the nearest BMW dealer was in Indianapolis (2 hours away). Not to minimize the degree to which that would suck... thats just an observation that it may be an average "semi-exotic" level of suckage. | ||

BTW- Court did a "stealth" post on a couple of threads yesterday hinting that there are photos of the 1190RX out there to be found. I scoured the net last night but the only thing of interest I turned up was a photo and video of the upcoming 2014 Hero "Karizma" 250 that EBR was supposedly heavily involved in, including the engine. (See thread below.) |
