quote:Harley-Davidson is legally mandated to offer repair parts for seven years but says it plans to continue parts repair services for the next 10 years. It has yet to decide whether it will sell used Buell motorcycles as well. By continuing to service Buell motorbikes, Harley-Davidson hopes to hold down any negative impact on its brand image.

It has yet to decide whether it will sell used Buell motorcycles as well. Is this a Japan thing? As far as I know, HD does not sell used bikes at all. The dealers do, and they sell whatever brands they have taken in on trade. I almost bought a GS from my local Harley dealer. |

Maybe this is not bad if hey learn to work on buells and then start selling buells again in 4 years, they will have developed a group of mechanics that will actually be able t fix buells, they will know the arts and by then hopefuly will have develped a love and resect for a bike thta can win championships and not just bikes that are good for bar touring |
