I never could afford a new Buell untill today when I went to the fire sale at the local Harley dealer, I got a fresh XB12r for $5500, best I cudda done b4 was $10K

I'm old as dirt so this bike will take to the end of my road.

The press release is saying that Harley will concentrate on its strategy of doing the same thing over and over again (Harley lifestyle sales disguised as motorcycles) and expecting a different result. They are looking at value streams....MBA talk. You know, the same philosophy that got them where they are now. It is kind of like being a person in a desert, who throws his water away because he thinks it will get him to the oasis faster.

Black, you're exactly right. This short sightedness is what killed them before. When the Japanese entered the US markets, Harley just kept doing the same old thing and got destroyed in the marketplace.

This is version 2.0 of that same business genius.
