I thought Buell production/sales was up over 10,000 a year either last year or the year before. |

It seems the article has domestic production numbers and world wide numbers all mixed together. Simply a matter of sloppy research or anti american bias trying to prove a point. |

since i work at HD/Buell as the Buell Specialist and get news/info on the net all the time(MPN/motorcycle daily,etc)...its like 5000+ Buells get shipped to europe each year..in the last few years...and now even more with the MV Augusta take over(add the New 1125R and CR #s)..of over 500 stores they have in the euro/asian market..so expect sales which they are to boom even more with HD/Buell,etc...with the dollar..it makes up for any losses here with our economy....yah the reporter got his facts @ss backwards...LOL! |

The article is clearly discussing domestic sales dropping. Buell shipped 11,513 bikes total (wordlwide) in 2007. It's reasonable to assume that Buell only shipped around 5,000 bikes to the US dealers last year. (Message edited by Diablo1 on September 27, 2008) |
