Author Message   Daytona200 Posted on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 - 01:57 pm:        Hi Everyone, I'm new to this board...just wanted to say I met Erik Buell at the Daytona 200 last week before the Formula Extreme race around the Buell garage area. I was looking to get my Steve Crevier signature HJC helmet signed by Steve...well I got Steve's and Erik's signatures both! Erik was so excited about the upcoming race...you could tell he felt like a little kid on Christmas morning! He was literally shaking with enthusiasm. Thanks Erik and Steve for taking the time to talk and the autographs....a new fan was born. By the way....that XBRR is one wicked machine....big difference seeing it on websites and then seeing it in person blow down the straightaways! My first post! Glad to be here! It was funny to stand next to Pascal Picotte's Yamaha rig with all the Yamaha decals covered with Buell/HD logos....and Erik Buell was so enthusiastic and that spilled over to all the crews on the teams....you could tell they were so pumped to be there.
