Hmmm...Nothing under the tree this morning for me. Oh yeah, I forgot. I never wrapped the stuff and just put it on the bike or hung it in the closet. LOL Merry Christmas! |

For those of you who don't know me, I've had my share of close calls and am prone to falling down LOL! Well the guys at work got me a great gag gift. This is the Hot Wheels crash test motorcycle dummy... The bike flies apart when crashed, the expression on his face is priceless...

In October of '99, I bought my first Buell, a brand new '99 S3. At the time, I bought a 5 year extended warranty with a money back guarantee. The deal was, if you didn't use your extended warranty, you'd get the entire amount you paid for the plan back. The only catch was that you had a 30 day window at the end of the 5 years to submit your claim for the refund. Along the way, I had some minor niggles that probably could have been handled under the warranty, but I took care of them myself so as to preserve the refund. IF there had been a major meltdown, I would've had it taken care of under the warranty. Well, the 5 years was up in October, I submitted my paperwork. They first required me to submit al my receipts and service records, which seemed odd since I wasn't asking for warranty service, I was asking for my money back. But I had it all, so i collected the records and sent it all in. Today I got my $844 refund check for it. WooHoo! Al |

Congratulations Al, Me on the other hand never received the magic card to send in and I've been told my money back guarantee is invalid by the person at the dealership. Good to see at least someone had the deal work out for them. |

Ferris, I need to talk to you but misplaced number, along with my brain...probably after consuming many adult beverages at Oktoberfast, LOL. Good grief, it is raining again! Thank god I got a battery tender. Maybe while everyone is home watching the Rose Parade (and hopefully that includes the entire quota collecting CHP) I can get out. |
