Bummer Mike, I did hear about it. Someone at work also knew the family. I would love to go to the BRAG meeting also but we have another commitment. I'm on my way back outside to do some more riding! Brad |

The exact infil and exfil dates are still unknown to me. I was told to be prepared for the month of november. It boils down to contract extensions and money being allocated. If it is like the last trip to kentucky.... a 20 person maintenance crew is in order. When is American Sport Bikes big night? |

Did anyone notice that Mike Ciccotto took fourth place in Formula Xtreme today? If somebody else posted it already, sorry, I missed it. Congratulations Mike C! Can't wait until next year! |

All the Octoberfasters made it back to the Thunderdome safely with no problems. Many are now heading to their homes a few are spending the night. Best damn ride I've ever had. |

Tell us more about this blue light special of AL's! Glad to hear everyone had a great time. As would be expected at the 'dome. Wish I could have been there. On a good note though, I've gone for my first ride in two months this weekend. Weeeeeeeeee! Man, great therapy! I still need a clutch cable, mine is broke right where it goes into the primary, and it's puking fluid there. but what the hey, at least i'm riding again! ferris, congrats on yet another successful Octoberfast. I think you should go work for BRAG and go out and select ride routes for a living... Still can't drink yet, but I'll tip a few Ice teas for ya! BBB |

Glad to see you doing better there Bart! I think your on the money on the Brag thing but DON'T tell anybody as we want to keep him as Cali's secret weapon! Jerry ran a great show, very expert on melding the Wild Bunch to the roads. I don't remember much in the way of straight road minutes for TWO days. Kudos to those who planed the route. |

Any dealers in here that would like to deal with me on getting a CITYX? I need to trade my S3T 01' one year off showroom floor. See my profile to see the bike. I live in Central Florida. Im a Federal employee and therefor do not make a ton of money. Anyone? Email me direct if you like. rspencer3@cfl.rr.com |

I was looking around the local breaker yard and found an xr9 engine from 2002 complete with wiring harness etc...slight scratch on the clutch cover. Is $3000 a high price for this low mile example? |

Yep, I noticed too. Congrats all around to the hard working Buell guys. Hopefully the winter will bring a little NASCAR tech to the motors, and close the gap to the Honda factory riders. XB12's at 10,000rpm? |

Way more pics over HERE The top three were quite a few seconds ahead, but Mike had a great battle with "Opie" Caylor for fourth and was able to hold him off at the finish. |

Ben, I don't think HP/Top Speed is what they need, they need to: 1. lower the weight of the bikes and 2. improve braking On the brakes is where they are losing time to the top running bikes, they have to start braking one brake marker earlier and get passed that way. Still I think they did great this year. The 200 will be fun to watch with the "old fashioned" pit stops keeping everybody equal. They are working on solutions to the fuel capacity problem, I jokingly told them to fill up a camelback and have the riders carry the extra fuel on their back, but I think they did not like that idea. While at the track I picked up a magazine called 2 wheel tuner, which had a very interesting article on the development of the XB. Here's a "what if" picture from the article You can read the whole article HERE |
