The problem with the V rod was that a lot of dealers marked them up over 10,000 dollars sending people right out the door that Harley wanted them to walk in. That was enough to turn some of my friends off. They could barley justify 16k no way 27. |

Was Trip ashamed of being seen on the Vrod and not his Buell??? BMW Boxer Cup, his FUSA/Pro Thunder S1, the AHDRA Vrod, Trip has ridden some interesting bikes this year. |

Jim, I'm ALL fast twitch. Was a sprinter. Still share the school record for the 100m dash and the 4x100m relay. Went to states for long jump. I guess I need to start training my clicker finger. |

Ray, If you want to move the footpegs back on a V-Rod you have to do something with the cartoon exhaust on the thing first. |

José, I'd like to think Tripp's actually grimacing over a bad joke. Which V-Rod designer did you tell where you wanted the pegs placed like in this pic?
from ahdra: ..and Screamin' Eagle V-Rod brings the crowd to their feet with a McNaughton-Nobles final..McNaughton has the records..Nobles took the win here today. Screamin’ Eagle V-Rod Tripp Nobles .569 9.770 137.09** Jamie McNaughton .473 9.884 138.43

Didn't someone post on the "Quick Board" 2004 HD thread, the availability of a bar and peg kit for the VRSCA to accommodate shorter riders? |

Hey all,,, Just wanted to restate what I've read so often and now have experienced first hand; meeting a BadWeb'r and being bowled over by the hospitality and friendliness and helpfulness that makes the peeps who frequent this site so unique. I recently aquired a S2 and DonCasto contacted me and since we live fairly close invited me over to show/school me on some of the finer points of Buell ownership. While I was there, another BadWeb'r showed up (Blackfeather) and thereby increasing the Buelowledge flowing in the shop,,,Nice guys,,,,Nice place (BadWeb),,,JM edited by joplin on July 22, 2003 |

Joplin: Well, that's all well and good to say, but Don's not exactly your "normal" Bueller. I've got a "dropped everything, tossed an S-2 in his truck and hauled it from Kansas to NYC" favor I've got about 24 years left working on paying off. Don's a dandy! |

Anybody ordered anything from Sport Twin? Good, bad, ugly? I sent them an email and hadn't heard anything from them in 24hrs and I am wondering how set up they really are to handle web orders. Anybody know the best phone number to place an order with? Opinions appreciated! Danny |

They typically respond to email in uhm, ... well never mind they never did respond to my emails. But they did ship the order the next day when I placed it online.

I placed an e-mail order one day and had the part in my hand the next day! Of course, they're in Dallas and I'm in Houston, so transit time is negligible, but they shipped my order like lightning! ...get it? "like lightning" that's a pun, son... r-t |

Dwike my luck has been identical to Thing's and Josh's, but my experience consists of only one data point, and others on the board have recently experienced difficulties (they were told that the person (!) handling that end of the business was out of town, and would address the non-shipment of product after charging the card "when he comes back). this may have been an exception that breaks the rule of good service . . . . may be worth a phone call (or email) |
