Guys, those are yesterday's results, we don't know what they did today. Let's not gloat regardless of how it came out. Even though not all of us are overly fond of their tactics, these guys are still racers, they're out there busting their asses and trying their hardest, and I respect'em for that. And they're damn good, no question. |

>>>>those are yesterday's results, we don't know what they did today. Indeed they are, the last day to qualify anything to be backed up before the 1:00PM Sunday backup cutoff. As of this evening, at the close of racing, the TEAM ELVES record here turned from a tentative gray to a confirmed red. I'm with you on the "no gloat doctrine" . . . I've met those things coming back too many times. It appears, that the Perkins Performanace entry failed, in four attempts, to make it down the course. They show 4 runs yesterday. It also APPEARS that today was for backups only. Still holding my breath..... Court |

O.K....I didn't get to go to the September race. I didn't get to attend the 'BIG PARTY". I didn't get to be at the October meet....and now you tell me not to GLOAT? I guess I'll just do a little closet gloating then. Please forgive my blatant, 'in your face', gloating that I really couldn't control earlier ;^) |

To tell the truth, Pammy, you had me thinking about your well-described big ass. Oh well, a flow bench is nice too, I suppose. |

I don't know if I 'met' Nolan White last year, but I know this much, Bonneville is a great place to die. Chasing your dreams there, and living to tell the tail is better, but at least Nolan was a long time competitor, and presumably he chased many many high octane dreams and enjoyed every moment of it, right up to the end of his life. If I may, when I was ten years old I was sent a magazine from Duckhams Oil, and it had a picture of Gary Gabelich's 'Blue Flame' in it. That was 30 years ago, and without the Team Elves, more so without Aaron Wilson, I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near fulfilling my dream, once I'd heard of 'Blue Flame', to be the Fastest Man on Earth . The reality of belonging to a team that have gone 200 MPH on a BUELL, is way more than my dream could have led me to believe. When I got older I knew I'd never be the fastest, but I also didn't know I'd be a little part of something so big, the TEAM ELVES. I just wish I could've done more, but thank you for letting me hitch a ride on your dreams too Team Elves. Rocket |

When I heard that y'all had done it (and done it well) I wore my Team Elves shirt around all day yesterday and today. Telling everyone who asked in (now sleepy) Newport R.I. what y'all had done. I'm very proud of y'all |

"Oh and Court, sorry to hear about the stretching of your "scrbotic license". I hope it don't leave a scar!" Dont worry Pammy I watched a Discovery Chan show on keyhole surgery and they can fix it almost like new with only two small cuts. (just above the temples if I remember) Give Wes a well done from me, and Gloat on |
