1999 X1 with Eurocomponents fairing and MANY other mods. $5100.00 I didn't think I would ever sell this bike, but life has changed quite a bit and I've sold a few I didn't think I would ever let go of. As we continue to get our 2 1/2 year old son through the after effects of cancer and keep him healthy with only one kidney, well.... life has changed and I don't have the time to take care of everything that I once did, so selling some prize possessions to clear some time in life for the more important things. This X1 is loaded with extras: Eurocomponents fiaring S2 forks S2 top tree (to get rid of cradle) LSL clip ons Wave rotors front and rear ASV levers LSL pegs Banke foot controls Powdercoated rear tail Powdercoated frame and wheels American Sport Bike carbon fiber under seat pan American Sport Bike billet front motor mount American Sport Bike carbon fiber license plate mount Collapsible pushrod tube assemblies Jet hot jet coated header Updated front exhaust mount Drummer muffler (photo shows a V&H..) American Sport Bike pully cover My pulley guard Race ECM Corbin seat sequential LED tail light Brand new tires, bike is still at shop! Full service I just do not have the time anymore while I continue to work my family through our son's life "challenge". I'm trying to get the collection down to manageable and enjoyable without being distracting from family life.

While it is a beautiful bike, buried in that is a reference to your son's health. I pray for a full recovery and a normal childhood from here on out for him. |

THANK YOU for your words and prayers!! Keaton is doing well, is in remission and has been for almost a year, though he gets scanned every 3 months and still cant go to daycare for fear of his immune system having to fight something else... cause there's ALWAYS something else at day care!, and of course beginning life with only one kidney, he's at other risks in life. He's a fighter for sure!!! As we begin returning to a normal life after the initial fight with cancer and keeping him strong and healthy I have taken a close look at things in the garage that sat for the whole time and come to the realization that the collection is simply to big and I am making some difficult decisions on paring things down. When I do have time for motorcycles it needs to be focused time to ride instead of managing a fleet. I stopped riding everything for the first year and a half, and now as things return to a sense of normalcy I'm taking a close look at the collection and making some very difficult decisions to get the collection down, so that when I do have "motorcycle time" I can ride instead of manage... this one and a 1985 VF1000r are the next 2 on the list. This bike has just received a full service, all fluids and new tires, head and base gaskets, while sitting at the shop, I made the decision it was time to sell, so it needs nothing to go enjoy it. wish I had come to the realization before the big shop bill..... (but its a big benefit to the net owner) when it occurred to me that I was paying for things I normally do myself, it hit me that I have too many bikes for this version of life. |

Prayers for your son's comfortable post- surgery recovery. David is aces and keeps his bikes in meticulous condition. Has counseled me a lot off the BWB... |

Although I don't know you or your family David, I'm sorry to hear about your young man. I do hope your boys remission, God willing, is ongoing & long lasting. As to the X1 - it's a stunner David & a credit to you. I do hope you get your asking price, which from the looks of it, would be far less than has been spent on it. Cheers & good luck. |

The X1 has a new home in a very nice collection of bikes and cars. It’s the best outcome I could hope for! |
