Started a new thread to separate the S3T from the project bike. Bike just passed VA state inspection at the local HD dealer. I am interested in offers. I have some local interest at the moment, but would prefer to sell it on BadWeb instead of FB marketplace. Would count $1000 of value for a Beretta 87 in trade. A 2000 S3T with ~20k miles and the following installed: -TWIN shock -Full race exhaust with dual O2 bungs welded onto professionally ceramic coated headers -XB rocker and positive crankcase ventilation kit -Double ended shutoff quick disconnect in the fuel line -Aftermarket LED mirror/turn signals and LED flasher -Cleanable oil filter -Forcewinder The bad: -Color matched Deep hard bags have a little cracking -Original Front Motor Mount was ground down after the the Forcewinder was installed (would make it difficult to get the original air cleaner back on) -I tried to put heat reflector on the underside of the fuel tank, and the gooey adhesive dripped on the engine here and there. It can be pulled off, it’s just tedious. See pictures. I’m not trying to hide anything. Parts that are not installed: -Original turn signals and mirrors -Taller Zero Gravity screen -Original air cleaner -Fairing bags - Service Manual Previous Post: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/889303.html

Nice in ridden condition. Those cracks in the bags are normal wear and tear. Easy to fix permanently. I fixed mine by; cutting lengthwise PVC piping. Sand inside of bag and the pipe with 80 grit. Glue the PVC pipe inside the bag, inside that channel, with epoxy putty. They do not break again. |
